APOSTLES CREED
Today we are beginning a new teaching series around spiritual practices and one practice that has been recited through history by Churches everywhere is the creeds. We do this as an affirmation of our faith in the Christian story and at the same time it connects our small local church to the bigger Church body throughout the world and history.  
So would you join me in the Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty
Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into Hell;

The third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy Christian Church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting.

Amen.

God, we meet this day as people who need your forgiveness,
seek your love, and celebrate your grace.
Almighty God, realign us, and remind us of your rhythms of grace,
