2016 Audit
At the AGM this year we communicate that we had contracted Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP as independent auditors of our financials at the church. They have completed their audit and provided the attached report.
We are happy to confirm that in the opinion of the auditors, in all material respects, the financial position of Kensington Commons Church as at December 31, 2016, and the results of its operations and its cash flows for the year then ended in accordance with Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profit organizations.
We want to thank KMSS for that work in helping to affirm the confidence the community has placed in Commons and we want to thank everyone for your generosity to the church.
In related news we have also implemented a new giving platform that allows you to set up and manage your own recurring giving profile. If you've never set up recurring giving now is a great opportunity. You can even text the amount you want to give to 84321. If you already have recurring giving set up you don't need to change anything but if you'd like to migrate to the new system you can email donate@commons.church
