RESPONSIVE READING
Written by Bobbi Salkeld
In this season of the church calendar known as Ordinary Time, you are invited to find God in your everyday, ordinary lives.

It might not be miraculous, it might not be magnificent, it might not be monumental. But, God is there in simple pleasures, friendly faces, and tiny bits of beauty.

Please join me in this responsive reading, where we consider the love of God that is near to us all.

When we are told
That we have nothing to offer
That we are not perfect enough
That we do not belong
Let us trust
We are loved by God, the source of all good

When we are told
That our struggle defines us
That our sin gets the best of us
That our suffering is all we can know for sure
Let us trust
We are loved by God, the source of all good

When we are told
That we are alone
That we are abandoned
That we are afraid of all that is different
Let us trust
We are loved by God, the source of all good
AMEN
