Leader: If you do away with the burden, the clenched fist, the wicked word; if you give your bread to the hungry, and relief to the oppressed.
Everyone: Call and the Lord will say, I am here.

Leader: Your light will rise in the darkness and the Lord will always guide you, giving you relief in desert places.
Everyone: Seek and God will answer. Call, and the Lord will say, I am here.

God of mercy, may we find forgiveness in your unfailing love. May we remember that it is only by your love and grace, through the gift of your Son, that we are given life. May all the praise be given to you God,
