PRAYER FOR A NEW YEAR

God who is always with us,
The start of this year may not look how many of us hoped it would.
As we take a moment to look at the new beginnings ahead of us,
We know that you are right there with us at every turn.
As we sit with disappointment,
You offer us hope.
As we make mistakes,
You offer us freedom to grow.
As we reach our limits,
You offer us grace that goes on and on and on.
You are faithful.
You are present.
You are good.
Amen.
