Online Week 1 Update
We hope everyone is doing well with all of the barrage of news that keeps coming in. It does look like we will be online only for an extended period and so while we have already transitioned our large Sunday gatherings to a live online experience, we also want to do our best to find new ways to stay in touch.
Every day this week we will be posting prayers for you to use in your life and family. You can find these on our main Facebook page and through our Instagram stories. We hope this will be a blessing to you.
We will have craft kits for Sunday available to pick up this week if your family is following along with the live stream. These will be ready for children in the toddler to Grade 2 age. More info about that in the coming days.
Also, tonight Bobbi and I are planning to be LIVE on our YouTube channel talking about the sermon from Sunday and ton have some conversation around what is happening in the world this week. We're calling this the AfterParty and we hope to be doing this weekly though this period where in person gatherings are suspended. Head to YouTube and subscribe so you can get notifications. We will be live online at 7PM tonight. We'd love to see you in the chat room so we can interact.
Our staff team has already transitioned to working remotely where possible using Zoom for meetings. If your Group would like some help in transitioning to digital spaces, contact Yelena and we can help with resources. We all still need friendship and community so be proactive in maintaining connection.
Our pastoral staff will be available through Zoom for meetings as well.
Finally, we have already been receiving donations of supplies for Care Packages. If you need a Care Package delivered to you let us know and we will get what you need out to you. We have already dropped off packages in the city, delivered fresh food to Made by Momma this morning, and will be working with Louise Dean to ensure that student mothers and families have what they need during this time. Fill out the form here if you need or can offer help.
Stay in touch. We will see you again.
Grace and peace.
