Hands at Work Update

Today we celebrate the incredible efforts made by Care Workers in Kalende, Zambia. These individuals serve locally with our international partner Hands At Work and, as the story of Ben illustrates, make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

This quarterly update offers a brief snapshot of the ongoing challenges around the community's land, while sharing some highlights from the past year. These stories are a helpful reminder of how Commons supports local advocacy in meaningful ways, and why these kinds of commitments are so important.

We invite you to read the update and keep your eyes/ears open for updates about our upcoming team trip that will see a small group of individuals from Commons travel to Zambia in the spring of 2023 to encourage and support the local advocates in Kalende.
