IN THIS LESSON:
In this final instalment of our series on Process Theology, we explore how these ideas connect to Christianity and, most importantly, to the person of Jesus.
We examine how Process Theology views Christ not just as a moral teacher but as the Incarnation of God’s creative love, expressing relational, influential love rather than coercion. Through Christ’s life, from birth to crucifixion, we see a perfect reflection of God’s nature—vulnerable, relational, and responsive to creation. We’ll also discuss how Process Theology reshapes our understanding of the Trinity and what it means for God to be love itself. This perspective on God invites us to see divine love as persuasive and influential rather than controlling, both in our lives and in the cosmos. By understanding Christ through the lens of Process Theology, we discover new depths of relationality and connection with God, creation, and one another.
