Ever present God,
Thank you for the ways you are near to us during times of change.
For many of us, September marks new beginnings;
New school year, new jobs, new responsibilities.
We ask to feel your nearness as we navigate the challenges that this year continues to bring so many of us.
Now more than ever changes in work, school, and family life bring with them a whole new set of variables and questions.
Am I doing what's right for me? My family? My community?
God you are with us in our unknowing.
And we thank you for the beauty that new beginnings can bring -
Even when that beauty is out of our view.
May we be reminded of goodness in simple ways this week.

Thank you for the ways you continue to be present to us and for the strength you give to keep on going.
Amen.
