COMMUNITY PRAYER

Written By Scott Wall

Loving God -
As we pause - and choose stillness, we name and entrust our need to your gentle care.

For bodies fighting infection, dealing with symptoms, and sensing weakness.
For those facing treatment or an uncertain diagnosis
For those weary from their work with the sick - front line workers, and those watching over loved ones -
We ask - be comfort for those who suffer and carry sorrow today -

For minds dealing with anxiety, distraction, and lack of control
For those facing uncertain financial futures - those captive to worry
For those weary in the internal work this season has required - those looking for jobs, those pushing for mutuality and respect in relationships -
We ask - be comfort for those who feel overwhelmed today

And for hearts resisting apathy, withdrawal, and harmful patterns.
For those attempting to face their new normal with courage
For those weary from the challenge of remaining focused, committed, and fruitful - all those on the search for meaning in these chaotic times
We ask - be comfort for those persisting and moving forward while feeling so alone today

And grant us grace to see and meet the need we encounter in each other -
For bodies, minds, and hearts made new, we pray -
Amen.
